Hyper-growth expert brings expertise to Automation Hero’s advisory board
Former UiPath executive Craig Bumpus joins Automation Hero as an Independent Advisor.
San Francisco, California – September 7, 2022 – Automation Hero, a leader in Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), today, announced the addition of Craig Bumpus, former UiPath CRO, as an Independent Advisor to the company.
Bumpus brings nearly three decades of strategic go-to-market (GTM) experience for start-ups and large enterprises. He has repeatedly led companies to multi-billion dollar IPOs, serving most recently as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) of UiPath. Bumpus also has extensive experience leading global sales teams and implementing channel strategies within hyper-growth organizations for RPA, cloud, & SaaS spaces—including Cisco, Sophos, Nutanix, Utimaco, EMC, and Qumulo.
As CRO at UiPath, Bumpus oversaw almost all organizational functions outside of products and finance to prepare the company for a $30 Bln IPO while establishing a global culture of excellence and operational efficiency. In 2017, Bumpus oversaw the company’s annual revenue rise from double to triple-digit multi-million dollar growth in 2019 for an increase of 812%.
Bumpus sees Automation Hero as next-gen automation technology capable of supporting businesses struggling to navigate the fast growth of unstructured data. Bumpus will advise Automation Hero’s growth strategy as an Independent Advisor.

Craig Bumpus holds degrees in International Business, Management, and Marketing from the University of Rhode Island and was a guest professor at Babson College.
